Introducing the New Experience Awards

Auxiliary Services is launching a new recognition program to celebrate our employees who embody USC's unifying culture values to create the best USC experience.

About the Program

The EXPERIENCE Awards recognize Auxiliary Services employees who create the best USC experience for our guests through their actions and behaviors. They are living examples of the University’s unifying culture values.

These employees “get it” and deserve to be put in the spotlight. The re-imagined program introduces new evaluation criteria, a streamlined application form, great prizes, enhanced technology, and personal outreach to engage with everyone.

Award Categories

Culture Award

Culture Award

Culture Awards are bestowed to employees who exemplify one or more of USC’s six unifying culture values in a consistent or exceptional manner. Student workers and resource employees are included in this category.

Fight On! Award

Fight On! Award

Fight On! Awards are bestowed to employees (including Assistant Managers) who embody Auxiliary Service’s vision and mission as they deliver excellence through our core principles of people, services, and partnerships.

BEST Award

BEST Award

The monthly BEST Award is bestowed to a leader at the Manager to Senior Associate Director levels who creates the best USC experience by delivering exceptional leadership in advancing their departments and build thriving teams.

Eligibility

Nomination Stories

Nominations must include stories representing information that exemplifies the award category. Nomination stories may be submitted in English and Spanish.

Winning Limits

Winning is capped at one award, per category, per calendar year. For example, an employee earning a Culture Award in November 2023 will not be eligible to win in the same category again until December 2024.

Nominee Qualifications

Nominees must be current full-time, part-time, resource*, or student employees* of USC Auxiliary Services and its business units at the time of nomination and award.

Manager Approval

All nominations require the approval of the nominee’s manager. Nominees with any active, pending, or documented disciplinary actions within the preceding six months are disqualified from receiving an award.
